PAC Steering Committee 

The Messer PAC is governed by a separate steering committee independent from company leadership representing business units and functions from across Messer.

The PAC is dedicated to giving Messer a voice in the U.S. political arena. It is our corporate PAC and is entirely funded by voluntary employee contributions.

Corporations are prohibited from directly contributing to federal candidates – but they may operate a Separate Segregated Fund (SSF), known as a corporate PAC to support advocacy and engagement with elected officials. Corporate PACs are legal, transparent, and federally monitored means of expressing united interests in one voice.

The Messer PAC is responsible for maintaining compliance with the Federal Election Committee’s (FEC​) regulations and campaign finance laws.
